Total Wellness Challenge

Embark on a journey to well-being this summer! The 2025 Total Wellness Challenge is a fun, team-based adventure designed to help you explore the full spectrum of wellness. Throughout the challenge, you’ll engage in meaningful activities that promote growth across eight key areas, touching on everything from physical health to personal growth and financial wellness. Whether you’re striving for better balance, building healthy habits, or simply enjoying some friendly competition, this challenge is for you!

  • Challenge Begins: Monday, July 14th
  • Challenge Ends: Friday, August 8th

Wellable Platform

The Total Wellness Challenge will be hosted on the Wellable platform. To participate, all team members must create a Wellable account before the challenge begins. You can access Wellable through any web browser or by downloading the Wellable mobile app. If you don’t yet have an account, you can create a Wellable account here. Once registered, you can download the app and log in using the same credentials. Get ready to track your progress, earn points, and stay motivated—anytime, anywhere!

All activities related to the Total Wellness Challenge must be completed on employees’ own personal time.

How to Join a Team

Connect with your co-workers to form teams of 4 to 8 people. Select one person to serve as the Team Captain. Have the designated Team Captain watch the brief recorded training below, where they will learn how to register your team. At the end of the training, the team registration link will be provided.

IMPORTANT: After registering your team, please check your inbox for the team registration confirmation email to ensure your registration was successful.

Photo Release

To verify participation in group challenges and earn points, teams must submit weekly group photos. Team Captains are responsible for submitting a signed photo release form on behalf of their team to mhm@hr.sbcounty.gov. They must also ensure that any team member who does not wish to appear in publicly shared photos is not included in the submitted images. Please note that any photos received may be featured on the Total Wellness Challenge website at the discretion of County Human Resources.

Win Big with the Total Wellness Challenge Prizes

GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE

  • All teams that reach 350K points will be entered into the grand prize drawing for a Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker
  • One Ice Cream Maker per member of the team

END-OF-CHALLENGE RAFFLES

  • After the challenge closes, participants must have earned at least 100K points to be entered into the raffle
  • One prize per individual winner (these are not team prizes)
  • End-of-Challenge Raffle prizes include:
    • Garmin Watch
    • Bogg Bag
    • Blackstone Tabletop Pizza Oven
    • Beats Earbuds
    • Blackstone Griddle with Hood

WEEKLY RAFFLES

  • Every Wednesday during the challenge, there will be a raffle of various prizes for individual participants who have earned at least 5K points in that week
  • One gift per individual winner (these are not team prizes)
  • Weekly raffle prizes include:
    • LA Fitness 1-Year Gym Membership
    • Le Creuset Stoneware Casserole with Lid
    • Nekteck Shiatsu Foot Massager
    • Levoit Air Purifier

PARTICIPATION GIFT

  • As a “Thank You” for participating in the Total Wellness Challenge, the first 1,500 participants to reach 50K points will receive a Mini Spa Kit.

*Must be a County employee to be eligible for prizes and incentives. Participation in the County Wellness program is voluntary and must be done on employees’ own time. Must be a current County employee to be eligible for any rewards and incentives. All prizes are subject to change & inventory availability and will only be available while supplies last.

Grand Prize Raffle and End-of-Challenge Raffle winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 12th!
