GRH – How Does it Work
First, see if a friend or family member can pick you up.
Next, speak to your supervisor to see if you have any of the following options available:
- Can a coworker provide you a lift?
- Does your department have a county vehicle that you can borrow?
- Will your department authorize you to borrow a car from Motor Pool at their expense?
If you’ve tried everything else, contact Commuter Services. The GRH program will reimburse you for eligible expenses for the one-way cost of getting home, including taxi, Uber, Lyft, Zipcar, rental car or public transit. GRH reimbursement is limited to two times per fiscal year.
